About Your Trainer

I worked in Southern California as a court reporter for a few years, then as a Deputy City Clerk and a Management Analyst. I moved to the Bay Area in 1991 to become the Cupertino City Clerk, and served in that position for 18 years.  During that time, I achieved the designation of Master Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).  I continue to be a member of the IIMC and the City Clerk's Association of California (CCAC).

I launched my encore career in 2012 as a consultant and trainer when I began specializing in Apple products, particularly iPhones and iPads.

I have provided training to over 50 individuals on a one-to-one bases, and provided group training to staff and board members of various municipalities and districts.  I also have given presentations at small conferences and community gatherings.

Some of my corporate clients include:

In addition to general iPad training, I also provide instruction in iPad Art apps through my affiliation with the Mobile Art Academy.  There are many art apps which create digital tools that mirror, and can even go beyond ,traditional art media including drawing, watercolor, ink, acrylics, and oil paints.
